A study in Palmerston North has revealed that not only are the city's motorists mentally unstable as soon as they grab the wheel, but also that 88% of our bus drivers can not even drive.

This shocking discovery has prompted deep anger in our community, with one local saying he has known of this issue for "yonks".

"They can't drive for s***; I've known this for yonks. They run red lights and drive like it's GTA5."

Other residents have commented that this may not be the only issue plaguing public transport in the city.

One student from Massey described the bus drivers as "hormonal karens."

The Palmerston North community has long recognised the dodgy driving of those employed to "safely" carry the public. Facebook groups like Everything Palmy have been swarmed by comments about the erratic nature of driving, including repeated speed limit violations and rejection of red lights by public transport staff.

The New Zealand Police have not signalled an interest in combating this behaviour.

Horizon's regional council and Transit have refused to comment when approached by the PN Herald.
